Once every October, Kent State University is visited by The Gideons; evangelists who supplant themselves near the science wing of campus and distribute copies of the New Testament bound in cheap, green plastic. In the past, my advisor has placed his free copy adjacent to Buddha atop the HPLC. I have placed mine above the Analox AM1 Alcohol Analyzer, which I use to analyze my alcohol dialysate samples (it determines the amount of oxygen needed to convert alcohol to acetylaldehyde). Just for decoration, of course.
The Gideons Have Arrived!
