More, More Circadian Neuropeptide Soup and Apoptotic Factors

The hot topic of today’s poster’s sessions: DOPAMINE! Sex, Drugs, Rock N’ Roll, and More Sex. Of the few circadian posters I did see: 1) the importance of GRP for photic entrainment presented by Rae Silver’s and Karen Gamble’s labs; 2) the mediation of cell growth and apoptosis by NR2A and NR2B receptors, respectively; and 3) a unique interaction between the vestibular system and circadian entrainment (this study actually entailed placing mice on a centrifuge every day for four months!).
